Do you have some furniture that is broken or is non-functional in some way? Perhaps something with a lot sentimental value made by your father, grandfather, or another relative? Or maybe something that you were very fond of when you were a child? Are you looking for furniture repair services but don’t know where to turn? If so, you’ve found the right place.

FURNITURE REPAIR

The bassinet in the picture had been in our attic for over 15 years. My wife asked me to get it out of the attic, reassemble it, and make it nice and sturdy.

All of the attaching points needed some TLC and some drilling, dowels, and gluing to make it a sturdy structure again. Then my wife painted it, and we put it into service to hold our new grandson.

FURNITURE ASSEMBLY

Today, a lot of furniture that requires assembly can be purchased online or locally at a much lower price than the assembled price. It seems like the perfect plan as you’re scrolling through inexpensive furniture or walking through Walmart, Target, or IKEA. But, when you get it home and open the boxes, things get a little more complicated. The great thing is that even by hiring someone to assemble your furniture kit, you may still be able to save money compared to store-bought assembled furniture.

I do furniture assembly, such as IKEA furniture, bookshelves, etc. If you’ve purchased a furniture kit and are a bit intimidated by the accompanying assembly instructions, please contact me. Some furniture assembly projects that you may be considering include:

In addition, if there are some custom modifications you’d like to make to your newly purchased furniture kits (for example, add another shelf, or storage location), or add holes for attaching or running power or network cables, I can do that too.

FURNITURE MODIFICATION

In addition to furniture repair and furniture assembly, I can modify furniture to your specifications. Perhaps you want to add a drawer, or divider, or shorten or lengthen a dimension of your furniture. You don’t have to live with something that is sub-optimal!
